Special Effects.

The wipe used at the start and end of the video was created on final cut pro and was simple to create using video transactions and oval iris.The old fashioned movie style effect gives it a scence of style and time effectively and establishes from the very start what the audience should be expecting.



We filmed the mug shots in front of a green screen then opened the footage in after effects this was also a lot easier than i thought. First we had to keylight the footage (the green screen background), so it recognises the colour, this made the green screen turn invisible then we simple found a police line up picture and put it behind the girls. This allowed us to have the girls play to camera, connecting them to the audience and adding an extra location without filming in one.
